McGowan's completed the removal and installation of our complete heat and A/C system this week, including all ductwork. We want to thank you for doing an excellent job. The lead service technician was Christian, and he was assisted by three different persons during the week. Christian is truly an excellent representative of your company. He is very knowledgeable, and courteous to the customer at all times. It was also evident that he is an excellent supervisor and gets along well with his assigned crew. On the last day of installation, Christian was assisted by Mike in the installation of the inside air handler and the outside unit and making all the final connections. It was very evident that they were true

Carrier System 31 years old and still running strong!

Hello, we are homeowners in Fleming Island, FL. Our Carrier system was installed on April 12, 1978 by McGowan's Heating and Air Conditioning. It is 31 years old and running strong. We recently had the system cleaned and tested by a McGowan's technician and he said that it is blowing cold air at the correct temperature and in perfect condition. We are amazed that it is 31 years old and still working perfectly. As you know Florida is hot most of the year and our A/C gets a true work-out. We think it a testament to Carrier's durability and McGowan's skilled labor force that our unit is running flawlessly today. We feel Carrier and McGowan's are #1 in Air Conditioning Systems! Excellent Bi-Annual Inspection Service

About a year ago we signed up for the bi-annual inspection service. The other day you all called to schedule an appointment, yesterday, your technician Robert came out and we just have to remark how pleased we were with his professionalism and his expertise. Not that we've ever been unhappy with McGowan service before, it's just that Robert found two issues that if gone unnoticed may have eventually cost us a lot of money. We're certain the handler will run better for sure. We've recommended to all our neighbors to buy their hard to fit filters from your Collins store, and we've passed them in the your parking lot picking their filters up. So we'll be sure to share the praise of your inspection service with them as well.

Who is NATE and what does it do?

NATE, North American Technician Excellence Inc., is an independent, third-party certification body for HVAC/R technicians.  NATE tests technicians that others train.  Testing validates the technician's knowledge and a training program's instruction. NATE-approved testing organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada offer NATE tests.  Candidates can earn installation and/or service certification in five specialty areas: air-conditioning, air distribution, heat pumps, gas heating & oil heating.
